Since we built our new home our Milgard windows have been the best part of our home. We are blessed with a wonderful view and the entire side of our home that has the view is covered with Milgard windows. We further blessed with an abundance of birds as we live close to a wildlife refuge. The frequent passing of migrating birds and eagles is visible as we set by the large windows with complete clarity of view and no sense of cold or heat passing through them.
That said, most significant about Milgard is the service and guarantee.
After 12 years we had a window whose seal failed. We contacted Milgard. They came out nearly immediately and upon inspection the technician determined that another window would eventually fail and changed both of them. If every product we have or may purchase would come with such a dependable warranty, peace would be achieved. Thank you Milgard for a great product and a great company.
